My dog Queen was the best companion a guy could have until my housekeeper took her place. This all happened by accident and I am glad that Queen was replaced by a better companion. Before this turn of events Queen gave me everything that a guy could hope for. She happily greeted me at the door with wet kisses when I returned from my job. I was never alone while watching television because she was always on my lap. At bedtime she impatiently waited to share my bed. We snuggled up and quickly fell asleep.
We made the perfect couple.

My rooms were so overloaded with junk and dust that even Queen found it to be uncomfortable. She avoided the debris and was having difficulty finding a spot where she could stretch out. If it wasn’t for her I would have left things alone, but out of compassion I looked through the telephone book and found the number of an agency that supplied cleaning ladies. The next morning this woman rang my bell and she was ready to go to work.

Her name was Annie and it was hard to believe that she was only a cleaning lady. Her hips were built low and she had a great figure. When she bent over to dust off my bookcase I couldn’t believe the thoughts that entered my mind. She also was an energetic worker and finished the first room in only a few hours. I prepared her lunch and while we ate we spoke about so many things that I forgot to feed Queen. I was awakened from the conversation by an unrecognized growling; it was coming from beneath the table. I bent over and looked underneath, it was Queen. She was showing horrible looking fangs that I had never seen before. I asked Annie to finish her lunch and go back to work while I fed Queen.

Annie Had told me that she was finishing up on her masters degree at college and she was now on her summer break. House cleaning was a good way to make some extra money. She told me that even though I was much older than her she found me to be very interesting and appealing. I asked Annie to stay at my place until the job was finished and she agreed. We were watching television together and Queen was on my lap. The thought entered my mind that I was with two women. Annie and Queen were those two women and I smiled with delight

Annie soon moved in with me and I shortly realized that I had two women in the house competing for my love. No longer was Queen on my lap while I was watching television because Annie loved to put her head there. I suspected that she did it to antagonize Queen who occupied that spot for years. She also chased Queen out off my bed when it came time to make love. Things came to a climax when Queen bit her on the ankle at dinner time when Annie demanded to be served first. It became a constant battle between the two women and Annie became the winner when Queen disappeared. I missed her but peace was at last restored to my home.

One day Annie and I were walking through the park when we came upon a familiar sight, it was Queen with his head on the lap of a bum .They were happily stretched out on a park bench. Queen looked up and gave a vicious looking growl. We turned around and left the park. It was obvious we had hurt Queen deeply but were glad she found a better man to be with.

Annie and I now have two pet Siamese cats and both are happy animals. They are male and female. When we are watching television both of them share the couch with us. The male prefers Annie’s lap and the female mine. We even take them both to bed with us. But when it is time to make love the cats instinctively leave the bedroom. We also return the favor when ever they become romantic.

I often think of Queen and what she meant to me. She was a good woman and tried her best to please me. But as hard as she tried she was limited. Queen could not speak or make love in a human way. I know she would have gladly done both if possible. Annie had an unbeatable advantage over Queen. She did every thing that Queen could do only better. Even if she had no tail to wag she greeted me at the door after a hard day on the job with wet kisses. I also never had to walk or feed her; she could do them both without any help.

My advice to dog owners who think that their dogs are more desirable than humans is to compare their qualities in fairness. If you do the dog will be the loser. I agree that dogs make better companions than many humans. But I am sure that if you shop around long enough you will find a human that will replace your dog. There are many people that are looking for a home and a person to look up to and serve. All you have to do is feed and house them. You will shortly fall in love and realize that you made the right choice by getting rid of your dog.
